Resource: AANMA Hispanic adapted version of the Indoor Air Repair kit
The Allergy and Asthma Network Mothers of Asthmatics (AANMA) has released the Hispanic adapted version of the Indoor Air Repair at Home, School, and Play kit. With this tool the Hispanic community can learn, through front-line health care providers in their own communities, to recognize the correlation between good indoor air quality and allergy and asthma symptoms. They can also learn to improve health outcomes such as reducing emergency room visits, improving quality of life, and experiencing fewer missed days of school or work. With culturally appropriate language, this kit also provides affordable, cost-effective and practical solutions to common symptom-triggering allergens, irritants and pollutants inside home, school, and play areas. The kit includes three separate newsletters: Indoor Air Repair at Home, Indoor Air Repair at School, and Indoor Air Repair at School, along with the EPA’s Smoke-Free Home Pledge brochure. For more information, contact Marcela Gieminiani at 703-641-9595 x.114. The kit can also be downloaded at
