| "What's Asthma All About?" is an on-line interactive video that describes the events leading to asthma and ways to control the disease. It was created by a San Francisco-based team, and is based upon our current understanding of asthma and the NIH guidelines for treatment and environmental control. It is unbiased in its presentation, visually appealing, and expected be used by patients and providers around the world. Viewers will need the Flash 4 Plug-In (already installed on most browsers) and sound capability if they wish to hear the narration. The cartoon is in English and Spanish. This project was underwritten by Merck, but the company had no input on the content of the piece and was blinded to its development. This will be clearly indicated at the site.
