| The American Association of School Administrators (AASA) created this PowerPoint presentation through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to engage school leaders, district staff, and others interested in school health about the issue of asthma in schools. The objective of this tool is to have a short and simple presentation that will promote the importance of having an asthma management program in a school district as part of the coordinated school health model. This presentation can be used by any individual or group within a school district who needs to get others involved in the issue of asthma in schools. For example, it could be used by a superintendent to the school board, or by school nurses to the superintendent.
