Table: Outdoor Air Quality Index Notification System – Tulare County Asthma Coalition
The Outdoor Air Quality Index Notification System is based on the Air Quality Index (AQI) of the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, the California Air Resources Board and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The multi-colored flag system acts as a daily indicator of outdoor air quality at schools. The color of the flag determines the recommended schedule of outdoor activities and alternate indoor activities.

This document was prepared by the Tulare County Asthma Coalition to complement their Outdoor Air Quality Flag Program. For more information about the Tulare County Asthma Coalition, please see: http://www.calasthma.org/asthma_in_your_area/CCAP/view_coalition/TCAC/.
