U.S CDC (NCEH-ATSDR) website offers summaries of "Potentially Effective Interventions for Asthma"
Potentially Effective Interventions for Asthma
http://www.cdc.gov/asthma/interventions/default.htm

This U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website, created by a contractor of the National Center for Environmental Health-Agency for Toxic Substances and Diseases Registry, offers suggested "best practices" for asthma interventions in homes (n=9, two environmental only and two clinical only), schools (n=4, clinical only), and health care and hospital settings. The site is based on peer-reviewed publications and other publically-available information from January 1980-October 2002. The site includes a background explanatory section (including methodology), a full bibilography, and selected case studies summarizing potentially effective community-based programs.

[Note: in the future, this site may be updated with papers through 2004; the CAFA Briefing Kit science-based fact sheets summarized information on intervention studies through spring 2004.]
