Website Resource: Database of State Indoor Air Quality Laws
The Environmental Law Institute (ELI), with support from the U.S. EPA's Indoor Environments Division, has developed a Database of State Indoor Air Quality Laws. Included in the database is a wide variety of state policies addressing indoor air quality generally, as well as laws that address specific topics such as mold. ELI has compiled all of the state laws in this database into a chart, which is now available on their website: http://www2.eli.org/research/iaq.htm. On the website, you can also view smaller charts that contain laws from the database addressing three specific types of IAQ policies: (1) radon (2) IAQ in schools, and (3) mold.
