In October, 2003, the Regional Asthma Management and Prevention Initiative (RAMP) convened a meeting on asthma and diesel in order to share the latest research, mitigation measures, community advocacy, policy changes and media advocacy.
The following PowerPoint presentation by Michael Murphy, Principal Environmental Planner, Bay Area Air Quality Management District, outlines the regulatory, educational and incentive-based programs being used by the Air District to reduce diesel pollution.
