| The EPA’s Indoor Air Quality Tools for Schools Awards Program was initiated in 2000 to recognize schools and school districts that have demonstrated a strong commitment to improve children’s health by promoting good indoor air quality practices. The EPA offers four awards that schools/districts can apply for – the National Great Start Award, the National Leadership Award, the National Excellence Award, and the National Model of Sustained Excellence Award.
