Workshop to discuss regulations for indoor air cleaning devices in Sacramento, December 13th
Workshop to discuss regulations for indoor air cleaning devices in Sacramento, December 13th The California Air Resources Board is sponsoring a public workshop to discuss development of a regulation to limit the emissions of ozone from indoor air cleaning devices. California Assembly Bill 2276 (2006, Pavley), signed by Governor Schwarzenegger in September 2006, directs the Air Resource Board (ARB) to develop and adopt a regulation to limit the ozone emitted from indoor air cleaning devices in order to protect public health. The bill requires the ARB to adopt the regulation by December 31, 2008. ARB staff have scheduled a workshop for December 13, 2006 to discuss requirements of AB 2276 and obtain input from interested stakeholders and members of the public on the development of the regulation. For more information about the workshop and to view an agenda please visit http://www.arb.ca.gov/research/indoor/aircleaners/aircleaners.htm
