| The new Asthma Action Plan for Schools and Families developed by the California Asthma Public Health Initiative did not have the required language for parent waiver of school/personnel liability for self-administration of asthma medications that is mandated by the new school inhaler access law. An updated version with the appropriate consent language (at the bottom of page 1) has been posted to their website (http://www.caasthma.org) and can be downloaded free of charge. Updated translations of the plan will be available over the next few weeks. |
