| CARB Public Workshop/Hearing on Draft Indoor Air Pollution Report, July 27 in Sacramento |
There will be a public workshop to review the California Air Resources Board (CARB) staff draft report on indoor air pollution, including sources and potential associated health effects, which was mandated by AB 1173 (Keeley, 2002). Asthma is one of the main health outcomes covered in the draft report. In addition, possible mitigation options for homes, schools and non-industrial workplaces are presented.
The report is receiving public and external scientific peer-review during summer and fall 2004. The final report is due by the end of 2004.
