Healthy Homes Practitioner’s Course in San Francisco

The San Francisco Asthma Task Force, RAMP, and the San Francisco Department of Public Health are hosting “The Essentials of Healthy Homes: Practitioner’s Course” on October 16th and 17th in San Francisco. This two-day course is for anyone that works with clients and is concerned about their housing conditions. The training is open to participants from around the Bay Area. Course objectives include: identifying the root causes of health problems in homes; linking health problems to the seven principles of healthy housing; identifying practical, cost-effective methods for making homes healthier; and identifying strategies for the collaboration of resources to achieve healthy housing.
