Objectives
|
The Stanislaus County Asthma Coalition is a coaliton of approximately 30 agencies and organizations. Members volunteer their time to meet and strategize approaches to making Stanislaus County an "asthma friendly" community through:
1. Public Education
2. Treatment and Management
3. Data and Epidemiology
4. Strategic Planning and Policy Advocacy
Sub-Committees meet on a monthly basis. General meetings are held quarterly.
2007 Update
1. Asthma Flag Program in Schools:
245 Public and Private schools in Stanislaus County - over 100 schools are now participating in this community effort to raise asthma awareness!
