Public Media Center

The role of the Public Media Center (PMC) as a partner in the Community Action to Fight Asthma (CAFA) initiative is to develop local and statewide communication materials designed to educate the public and policy makers about the links between asthma and environmental triggers, as well as to provide technical assistance to local asthma coalitions and regional centers in California.

Founded in 1974, PMC is a national nonprofit public interest communications agency based in San Francisco helping numerous social change and public interest organizations with media, marketing, press, public relations and advertising.
